How Long Does Anchovy Paste Last

Back to the roots

A good feeling to finally be back in couple! The last days were great again normally. Tuesday I had planned to visit at last once the largest mall in the world - the Mall Westedmonton And what can I say, to be honest I would have imagined a lot bigger and more interesting. While it is somewhat amusing that the thing has its own leisure and water park, but that's it already. In the mall's stores that were then all sorts of me with my travel budget was rather less interested and therefore my only purchase a delicious soft ice cream from Dairy Queen. In addition to these two parks, there are still 2 for entertainment indoor mini-golf and a bowling alley. In addition, 2 times daily by a sea lion show, which I of course could not miss it!

Well, she was so special back then ... but after all it was free. Ultimately, I was disappointed with the mall a bit, but the evening program saved the day. Thus, Dave and I had gone bowling in a huge bowling hall, the 36 tracks. Although I have not really played badly, with an average of 130 pins, Dave was the better. Unbelievable what a genius he has momentum and I therefore presents 3-0. On average, he has thrown 170 pins .... Only one game was really just once, at which we in the end only 1 pin diverged.

Wednesday, I was allowed to borrow will be super-professional mountain bike. He goes some way every 2nd Day after work loose sometimes 25km. After 20 km along the Saskatchewan on various trails, I was ready. Although the scenery here in Northern Alberta is mostly flat, the trails were specially prepared so that it constantly goes up and down. When I got home in the evening then, it rang for 30 minutes at the door - another couch surfer came from the States for a night visit. Originally from Germany, but eventually made a semester in Arizona and is then stuck in the States. It is then doctorate in geography in the United States and has subsequently worked 4 years for NASA in Washington DC. Quite impressive anyway. In the evening we went went to a bar and have a few rounds of pool play. Dave has arrived back home then have a few stories from his travels, tells as well as images shown. We talked determined 2 hours over his 6-day trip to North Korea's dictatorial reign, simply incredible that he has attended there. Incredibly, that year in Pyongyang are only about 2,000 tourists. Also in the pictures it looks like a different world - propaganda everywhere, no cars, no phones, few North Koreans oppressed ... .. be honest I would be happy to look at me even once on your own as long as North Korea still exists in this form.

Today I wanted to be really into the "Royal Museum of Alberta. Only way I've divided my time something bad. After a hearty breakfast at 11 clock in the morning I made my way to the 12:30 clock museum. Because I feel like a walk had to make, I'm walk there, of course. . ... Well at 17:15 clock, I arrived at the museum and its opening times are as follows: 9 clock in the morning - 17 clock. Of course I knew already to 14 clock that I can be the museum has to turn out well today when I look at the path on the map look like that, but but I wanted to see it at least from the outside. So I when I arrived at the museum, still in walk-mood, I'm just completely gone even further by downtown and on the other side of the river get out of the city. According to google maps I am now an incredible 20.6 km run on foot and was therefore only in the dark again at Dave's apartment. Was really a good day and I've seen a lot of Edmonton - especially views of the skyline at night.

Sorry, looks a bit blurry, but still good as I think.

Now I sit straight on the couch and grudge 'my feet a Pause. The rest of the day is probably lazy cozy. For a weekend I have no explicit plans, but I know that Leon would probably come a day in Edmonton. Let's see what it is.

For those who have not noticed, there are on the right side of a new section called "cities visited. On the map can be my way now even followed visually. google maps is already something nice.

Greetings to Germany
